In this begin of the 20th century, there were a lot of initiatives. At 26 years M. Ernest RONOT decided to do so, helped by some friends. He creates the Ernest RONOT compagny, with a little workshop of a hundred m², spécialised in boiler. He will be one of the forerunners of the agricultural boiler. The compagny quickly knows success in her profession. |

the first stones of what will be the factory are fixed. The installation in this new factory will be after the First World War. Cause of the growing needs of the compagny, extensions are made in the following years. |
| 1914 |
The First World War is declared, and M. Ernest RONOT, as many, is requisitioned to go to the front. But the factory does still go on. This is his wife Miss RONOT who will take the direction of the compagny until his come back. |
| 1920 et après |
The compagny produces sheet steel materiel in serie for the farm. This is the start of troughs « LE MODERNE », wood cookers «REX », cookers « LE FRANCAIS », rootswashingmachine « ECLAIR », slurry pumps « NIAGARA » and cylindrical troughs and washingmachine« EVE ». It is also the creation of the galvanizing workshop, and the modernisation of pressing workshop. |
| 1928 |
After much prevarications, laboratory studies prove definitively that there are no indications against the use of galvanized products for watering the animals. The production is growing a lot. Galvanized steel begin to be really important against melting. |
| 1940 |
The Second World War secoue l’ensemble de l’Europe, and the factory is requisitioned by German to produce military materiel. But only few materiel will go out of the factory. |
| 1943 |
M. Ernest RONOT died at 64 years. Misses RONOT take over the direction of the compagny. |
| 1950 et après |
Needs in equipments after war, specialy in countryside, are huge. To agricultural material, they add towed rolls for work of ground but hydrolic containers as well, fuel containers, milktank, and others. The RONOT compagny becomes one of the pillars of Agricultural Machinery Fair. |
| 1953 |
Start of washingmachineEVE 6, half-automatic model, to be installed laundry rooms or barns. This model will know a real success in the contryside, but will disappear at the start of the years 70, because of the evolution of technology. In 1954, the model EVE 4 is produced and is designed to be installed in the kitchen. This will be less prestigious and will be stopped in 1965. |

The compagny knows its heyday. It employs more of 300 workers, and its products are distributed by 15Â 000 agents throughout the territory. |
| 1985 |
During a professional trip, M. Hubert VARIN, the little son of th founder and the one who presided over the destiny of the compagny, is victime of a fatal accident. His wife Misses Marie Louise VARIN take over the responsibility of the compagny. |
| 1986 |
The compagny knows important difficulties et and gets closer from the boiler BIEBER, who take over the control. The compagny becomes the SNE RONOT. The direction of the compagny is given to Misses VARIN, and M. Henri BIEBER becomes the PDG. |
| 2001 |
RONOT produces a new serie of farm towing. Products have quickly success. The product design pleases, morover it is the first model to be entirely galvanized. The Agriculture begins to get out the following crisis of « mad cow », and « foot and mouth deases ». |
| 2005 |
A special year for our compagny, which is celebrating its 100th birthday, 100 years of story quickly resumed. |
